Tours Description
This private visa-free tour of St Petersburg for cruise ship passengers includes visiting the famous summer residences of the Romanovs family. It starts in the port terminal where you will meet the guide and continues with a city tour. A panoramic ride along the University Embankment will show you a spectacular view of St Isaac's Square and the Cathedral, the Admiralty, the Palace Bridge, and the Palace Embankment. Later, passing by the sleeping areas of the city on our way to Peterhof, you can have a short subway trip to see the stations called 'the underground palaces'. The Lower Park of Peterhof, where you will have a walking tour, is famous as the capital of fountains. You will see the Grand Cascade, the exterior of the Grand Palace, the Roman fountains, the joke fountains and much more.
After a lunch break, the guide will bring you to Tsarkoye Selo and walk you through the astonishing halls of Catherine's Palace. The Amber Room, the 8th wonder of the world, will be the highlight of the tour. Enjoy a short walk in the Parl and return to the city center. The last sight of your St Petersburg shore excursion is an inside visit of the Church of Our Savior on the Spilled Blood. Once finished the tour, the driver will take you back to the cruise ship.

The itinerary of the shore excursion will be adjusted according to the cruise ship schedule traffic and museum availability. On Wednesdays, you will visit St Peter and Paul's Cathedral instead of the Church on the Spilled Blood.
