Booking a shore excursion with ShoreExcursionsStPetersburg.com you do not need to worry about issuing visas. After the booking is made, every cruise ship passenger must provide their passport details:

  • full name
  • passport number
  • date of birth
  • expiration date
  • citizenship

The visa-free waiver (tour ticket) will be issued for the duration of the tour that you have booked. The document will be sent out to your email and you will only need to print it out to present at the passport control upon disembarking in St Petersburg along with your valid passport. 

As an official tour operator, our company has all necessary permissions to arrange the visa-free entry for the cruise ship passengers. The price of this service is already included in the price of each shore excursion. Our customer service will contact you to require passport data after you make a booking. Kindly note that shore excursions in St Petersburg must be reserved beforehand. The deadline for booking and providing the passport data is 1 week prior to the cruise arrival at St Petersburg.

The visa-free rule allows the cruise ship passengers taking tours in St Petersburg accompanied by a guide or a tour leader at all times. Please note that without an independent Russian visa you are not permitted to stay in the city on your own.

The travelers who arrive in Russia by train or plane and stay in hotels are required to have Russian visas. Contact us if you need assistance in getting the invitation letter. 

The following list of countries does not require Russain visas for traveling: Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Cuba, Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Dominican Republic, Venezuela, and others.
