This classic 2-day tour of St Petersburg covers the must-sees of the city and its environs. On the second day, it is planned to discover the summer estates of the Romanovs - Tsarskoye Selo and Peterhof. An approximate itinerary of this private 2-day tour of St Petersburg:
Day 1 - St Petersburg
- 10:00 - meet the guide at your hotel lobby
- 10:15-11:15 - explore the first construction of the city - Saint Peter and Paul Fortress
- 11:30-14:00 - take a complete tour of the State Hermitage Museum and the Winter Palace
- 14:00-15:00 - have a stop for lunch or a coffee break
- 15:15-15:45 - visit the Church on the Spilled Blood
- 16:00-17:00 - take a sightseeing boat tour
- 17:15-17:45 - visit St Isaac's Cathedral
- 18:00 - return to the hotel
Day 2 - Imperial residences
- 10:00 - meet the guide in your hotel
- 10:00-11:15 - travel to Peterhof by car/minivan and take a short metro tour
